LoudTwitter, may you rest in peace

Christmas2009
Evidently the live twitter server died right after June 30th, which explains the quietness of my blog here, and why my normal LJ peeps haven't responded to some of my recent tweets that would normally cause responses.

So to update everyone:

My mother-in-law had surgery on Monday to get rid of her cancer hopefully, she's recovering nicely and they're hopeful that she may be able to go home either late tonight or early tomorrow morning.

July 3rd my  in-laws hung out with us in Valpo and we went to JC Penney's and purchased curtains for the office room and master bedroom, as well as cellular shades for those two room and the guest bedroom. The old style blinds are now gone from our house and the cellulars are much nicer (and provide better insulation) plus they are a lot harder for the cat to accidentally break when she peers out a window to look at the outside world.

July 4th and 5th we spent in Illinois as my in-laws place, the evening of July 5th Alisha, Joel's younger sister, flew in from Florida to be with their mom for the surgery, she is still with them and won't return back to Florida until Saturday this week.

This Saturday I have a wedding that I'm second shooting with Cindy (yay weddings! I didn't have any last month, so I'm really looking forward to this one)

Next Monday I will fly out to Tampa (it's like I'm following Alisha, lol) and work from there through Friday.

Oh and it turns out I'll be missing my first and only god-daughter's baptism due to really bad timing. My sister-in-law will be up with her family the weekend of July 25-26th to baptize my god-daughter, but July 26th is literally the only Sunday this whole year I booked a wedding on, so I will be stuck in Valpo photographing the fabulous wedding of Ashleigh (one of my Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters ^_^) so I'll miss the actual baptism. At least I'll get to be with the family and meet my god-daughter on Saturday though!

So that's the big things I can think of to update right now... and True Blood Season 2 is in full swing so for those of you not watching it yet, I highly recommend it if you like vampires :) (I also highly recommend the books)
